That was 8 years ago though. BYU implimented this a bit ago and it is pretty great. You get office 365 online and can download and install the office applications for offline editing. My only complaint is that the online editing is seen as an enterprise account, meaning if you have a personal onedrive account you cannot link them. So if you want to edit files off your own onedrive, you have to do it in the offline editor. This is particularly annoying when you're on Linux and just want to edit a personal file, you have to bring it into your school onedrive account. Also online editing is missing a few features that are sorely missed.
