I bought an in car radio/cdplayer with navigation from China a few weeks ago. Model is CUSP-6211 with Windows CE 6.0. It came with EU IGO8 map, 8.3.4.117940, no 3 2009.

An iPhone navigation app that offers -style 3D GPS guidance for drivers will receive a major upgrade this spring, giving users more data about traffic conditions along their route. Developer announced the forthcoming upgrade to on Tuesday at the technology trade show in Hanover, Germany. The upgraded app, now called, will feature more than 100 enhancements, including live traffic updates, an overview of historical prevailing speeds along routes, and a “Smart History” feature that remembers commuters’ usual routes (and the times of day those routes are traveled) for ready access. Some of the new features will be available through in-app purchases. The app is also optimized for the iPhone 4’s Retina display. The upgrades will enhance an app that already guides users along their routes in three dimensions, showing what the street looks like from a driver's point of view (including 3D representations of significant landmarks along the way) with additional support from voice instructions.

I would like to buy a legal map - does anybody know how i can get that? I am rather offended over the manufacturers attitude. They told that all their models with navigation is supplied with cracked maps, and that customers are happy with that! Guess customers don't know:-) And without knowing, they are all in a way criminal. This one: You are not allowed to view links. Well, that seems to be NavNGo's attitude to everyone. And then they are surprised people turn to 'grey' websites.

It had no Norwegian voice file, and I could not update from Navextras home page. Contacted support, they told it was an illegal map. Even if the supplier told the unit supports only IGO8, Navextras say it is not supported.
